Sound

Sound can be used in an educational manner as illustrated by the sound files at Physics in Speech where recordings of Joe Wolfe's vioce illustrate the effect of liquid helium on voice patterns. File formats will determine the quality and size of the file.

Sound can also be embedded as a background clip that loops. Midi files are usually a good choice as they tend to be relatively small in size.
