Director

Director is a macromedia program that allows animations to be constructed much like a movie with a stage and cast. It is much more powerful than flash in that it allows access to the code (called Lingo). Basically it can do almost anything within the realm of imagination. It can be embedded within a web page but requires a 3rd party plug in.
